Joe Geitani received his architectural diploma from the Universite Saint Esprit, Kaslik [USEK] in 1985. He then studied building restoration at the Universite de Rouen and worked with different architectural firms in France. Geitani returned to Lebanon in 1995, and won the competition for the headquarters of BLOM Bank in partnership with Pierre el Khoury Architects, where he worked from 1995 until 1998. Geitani established his own practice in 1998, continuing to develop his interest in new technologies and materials. Among his projects, the Blom Bank Extension [2002], a Hotel in Downtown Beirut [2004] and Villa Maamari [2004].
