Youssef Haidar graduated from the school of architecture at Paris La
Villette in 1988, with emphasis on museography and scenography. Between
1988 and 1994, he practiced in different architectural firms in France,
and in 1997 he set up his own firm in Lebanon. Among his realizations
figure the renovation of the historic Khan-al-Saboun in Saida
(1998-1999) in collaboration with Nada Zeineh; and the addition to the
Omari Mosque in Beirut, and the Bablieh Residence in Rmaileh
(2001).
