Francisco Martín was born in 1959 in Caracas. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the Universidad Central de Venezuela in 1990. He has been a professor of design there, at Universidad José María Vargas, and at Florida International University. He recently won first prize in a private competition for the redesign of the interior of Central Bank of Venezuela.
