CODE

Code is an architectural office founded in 1997 and includes five principals. Four of them were educated at Bergen School of Architecture in Norway, and one at Delft University, Netherlands. The Code architects represent the upcoming generation of new Norwegian offices and have, since establishing their practice, won several planning and architectural competitions.
MILITARY MESS MADLA, 2002-2005

The project is a military mess building for officers and privates. The building consists of a kitchen, refectory, officers' saloon and a meeting room.
HOUSING FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
NESODDEN, OSLO, 2001-2002

The building is a rational and robust volume containing 12 flats with a large external gallery. Providing access to the upper floor, the gallery functions as an element refining the connection between the rational box and the surroundings. The gallery is designed to provide a social space for all users.
