ERIKSSON LANGDALEN

Eriksson Langdalen arkitekter AS is based in Oslo and was founded in 1999 by Erik Fenstad Langdalen, Hege Maria Eriksson and Trond Olav Erga. The office has been involved with different projects, ranging from residences, museums, urban planning, exhibitions, and interiors. Through built and unbuilt projects, writings and lectures, the office has developed new ideas on how to arrange a house for the contemporary family, how to apply modern, standardized building materials in new structures, and how to build shelter for contemporary art.
HVALSTAD RESIDENCE

The Hvalstad Residence is a two-story "element house," built as an enfilade of equal-sized room-units, divided and furnished to accommodate the different functions, and is constructed of raw, standardized materials such as concrete, untreated wood-boards and plywood panels.
